Skin Health

What it treats

  • Early signs of ageing in your late twenties and thirties
  • Dullness and uneven tone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Rough texture
  • Maintenance between stronger treatments

How it works

The laser creates microscopic treatment zones across the skin at a shallow depth, prompting the surface to renew faster and more evenly. It is deliberately mild compared with full resurfacing, which is the point: it can be repeated regularly and it keeps skin quality improving without ever taking a week out of your life.

Typical course

Four to six sessions monthly, then every three months.

Who it is not suitable for

Not used on tanned skin, during pregnancy, over active infection or cold sores, or within six months of oral isotretinoin. Not strong enough to be the right answer for deep scarring or advanced sun damage.

Every treatment here is assessed at consultation first. This list covers the common reasons we would not proceed, and it is not exhaustive. Bring your medication list and tell us about anything you are being treated for.

Questions people ask

Is it strong enough to be worth doing?

On its own, one session does very little. As a course of four to six, it produces a clear improvement in tone and pore appearance. If you need a big change from one visit, this is not it.

What does the sandpaper feel mean?

It is the treated micro zones working their way to the surface, and it is exactly what should happen. Do not exfoliate it off. Let it shed and keep moisturising.

Can I wear makeup afterwards?

From the next day, yes. On the day itself leave the skin bare and use a plain moisturiser and SPF.
