How we pay
Salary only. Nobody here earns anything from what they sell, there is no bonus tied to treatment numbers, and there is no product target. That is unusual in this sector and it is the first thing most candidates ask about, usually with some suspicion.
The trade is that the salary has to be good enough on its own, so it is at the upper end for the role rather than the middle with commission bolted on. Bands are stated in the advert rather than discussed at second interview.
Training
A training budget per person per year, protected time to use it, and the expectation that you will. If you want to add a qualification that the clinic does not currently need, we will still usually fund it, on the basis that a therapist who is learning something is a therapist who is staying.
What we will ask you in an interview
To talk us through a case where you declined to treat somebody, and one where a treatment did not go the way you expected. Neither question has a right answer and both of them tell us more than a list of certificates does.
