How it works
The programme starts with an assessment of what is driving the breakouts, because comedonal, inflammatory and hormonal acne need different handling. From there you get a fortnightly in clinic treatment, usually a combination of peels, extractions and light based work, alongside a home routine we adjust as your skin tolerates more. The point of the structure is that acne responds to consistency over twelve weeks rather than to any single session.
Typical course
Twelve weeks as standard, then a maintenance plan.
Who it is not suitable for
Not appropriate for severe nodular or cystic acne, which needs a dermatologist and usually oral medication. If that is what you have we will tell you at assessment and help you get referred rather than start a course.

Questions people ask
Will my skin get worse before it gets better?
Often, briefly, around weeks two to four. That is expected when cell turnover speeds up and congestion sitting under the surface comes up. It is not a sign the programme is failing, and we will check in with you through it.
Do I have to buy your products?
No. If you already use something that works we will build around it. Where we do recommend something, we will tell you what job it does so you can buy it wherever you like.
What about the scarring left behind?
That is treated afterwards rather than during. Resurfacing inflamed skin usually leaves more marking than it removes, so we settle the acne first and then look at texture.
